Franciscan 1x1 Tau Cross With The Relics of The Blessed Martyrs of Pariacoto 14” Chorded Necklace

The Franciscan Tau Cross medallion contains second-class relics (ex indumentis, i.e. fragments from clothing) of the first Polish missionary martyrs: Blessed Zbigniew Strzałkowski and Michał Tomaszek, raised to the altars on December 5, 2015. These Franciscans became witnesses of Christ and, while performing missionary service in Pariacoto, Peru, died a martyr's death on August 9, 1991, at the hands of terrorists from the Shining Path group.
Blessed Zbigniew Strzałkowski is a special advocate for the physically ill and spiritually lost, and Blessed Michał Tomaszek is an advocate for children and youth. The Franciscans are also patrons of the Rosary Crusade in Defense against Terrorism, and advocates of peace and goodness.
Wearing the TAU Cross is a visible sign of the desire to imitate the poor and crucified Christ.
